【摘要】:Thisperformancespecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforicehockeyhelmets.Theintentofthisperformancespecificationistoreducetheriskofinjurytotheheadwithoutcompromisingtheformandappealofthegame.Thisperformancespecificationcovers:(1)performancetestsforshockabsorptionpropertiesofthecompletehelmetandstrengthandelongationofthechinstrapanditsattachment;and(2)requirementsforareaofcoverageandpenetration.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisperformancespecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
