【摘要】:Assumptions:Thewelldischargesataconstantrate,Q,oratstepsofconstantrateQ1,Q2...Qn.Wellisofinfinitesimaldiameterandisopenthroughthefullthicknessoftheaquifer.Thenonleakyaquiferishomogeneous,isotropic,andareallyextensive.Dischargefromthewellisderivedexclusivelyfromstorageintheaquifer.ThegeometryoftheassumedaquiferandwellareshowninFig.1.ImplicationsofAssumptions:Implicitintheassumptionsaretheconditionsofradialflow.Verticalflowcomponentsareinducedbyacontrolwellthatpartiallypenetratestheaquifer,thatis,notopentotheaquiferthroughthefullthicknessoftheaquifer.Ifverticalflowcomponentsaresignificant,thenearestpartiallypenetratingobservationwellshouldbelocatedatadistance,r,beyondwhichverticalflowcomponentsarenegligible.See5.2.1ofTestMethodD4106forassistanceindeterminingtheminimumdistancetopartiallypenetratingobservationwellsandpiezometers.TheTheismethodassumesthecontrolwellisofinfinitesimaldiameter.Thestorageinthecontrolwellmayadverselyaffectdrawdownmeasurementsobtainedintheearlypartofthetest.See5.2.2ofTestMethodD4106forassistanceindeterminingthedurationoftheeffectsofwell-borestorageondrawdown.ApplicationofTheisRecoveryMethodforUnconfinedAquifers:Althoughtheassumptionsareapplicabletoartesianorconfinedconditions,theTheissolutionmaybeappliedtounconfinedaquifersif(A)drawdownissmallcomparedwiththesaturatedthicknessoftheaquiferorifthedrawdowniscorrectedforreductioninthicknessoftheaquiferand(B)theeffectsofdelayedgravityyieldaresmall.See5.2.3ofTestMethodD4106forguidanceintreatingreductioninsaturatedthicknessanddelayedgravitydrainageinunconfinedaquifers.FIG.1CrossSectionThroughaDischargingWellinaNonleakyAquifer1.1Thistestmethodcoversananalyticalprocedurefordeterminingthetransmissivityofaconfinedaquifer.Thistestmethodisusedtoanalyzedatafromtherecoveryofwaterlevelsfollowingpumpingorinjectionofwatertoorfromacontrolwellataconstantrate.1.2TheanalyticalproceduregiveninthistestmethodisusedinconjunctionwiththefieldprocedureinTestMethodD4050.1.3Limitations8212;ThevaliduseoftheTheisrecoverymethodislimitedtodeterminationoftransmissivitiesforaquifersinhydrogeologicsettingswithreasonablecorrespondencetotheassumptionsoftheTheistheory(see5.1).1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
